Gang Squad Detectives Arrest Two People
– Queensland Police Seek Extradition Of Man

A man wanted by virtue of a Queensland arrest warrant is one of
two people apprehended by NSW Police Gangs Squad detectives in Sydney
yesterday.
About 3.30pm, the two men were arrested without incident following
a vehicle stop in Sussex Street, Haymarket.
Police will allege they located 3.7g of amphetamine and a quantity
of cash.
The two men were taken to Surry Hills Police Station for questioning.
A 36-year-old Pyrmont man – alleged to be a senior member of
an outlaw motorcycle club – was subsequently charged with supply
prohibited drug and money laundering.
A 32-year-old man was charged with a Queensland arrest warrant for
the offence of attempt murder. The charge relates to a brawl during
a boxing function at a Carrara resort on Saturday 18 March this year.
Both men were refused bail to appear in Sydney's Central Local Court
later today.
It's expected detectives from the Gold Coast CIB will apply for the
extradition of the 32-year-old man, who is believed to have been residing
in Sydney's eastern suburbs
